My name is Alisha Bennett. I am one of the fourth through eighth grade teachers at Lostant Grade School. I attended Illinois State University and earned a degree in Elementary Education. I am happy to say that this is my second year of teaching. I am very exciting to continue my year here at Lostant Grade School. I feel that Lostant Grade School has set high expectations for the students based on the goals and values set in place. |
I'm Stephanie Ziel, the new PE teacher, Athletic Director and Volleyball coach. I am from Palatine, IL and this is my first year teaching. I am only teaching the 6-8 graders. I moved to Ottawa in October and was looking for a small school to start my teaching career. I chose Lostant because it is a small, friendly community and I thought it would be a great first teaching experience. I have always loved sports and played many of them competitively. While I dabbled in many sports, soccer was the one I stuck to throughout my life. I played for Elmhurst College and also played semi-professionally in Iowa for a short time. I have known I wanted to be a PE teacher since first grade and I'm excited to finally start my dream here at Lostant! |
